What Does It Mean To Be Saved?

Now we have seen some examples of what a Christian should look like. After seeing that, we must ask ourselves something. What does it mean to be saved?
When we accept the salvation Jesus Christ offers, we are given eternal life. The salvation Christ offers takes our sin away from us, which allows us to become righteous. This righteousness is no where near self-righteousness. The righteousness we receive is only because Christ died and rose again with sin and death defeated.
The Bible tells us as a fact that if we have faith in Jesus then we would be doing things that show that faith. I look around and see many people who claim to be a Christian, but look like the rest of the world. Most who claim the name Christian act the same as those who do not say they are a Christian.
